When you write your favourite things of 2011 it helps to wait until you've got to the end of 2011. I've achieved epic twonkiness status with my movies of the year as I've since seen one that comes oh so close to my favourite. But not quite.

My Favourite TV Programmes of 2011
The last of my 2011 round ups and this one is about the TV programmes I've liked. Again I'm back to indecisive ways so I have a Top 5 and then special mentions to others. That's the way I roll :-)

My Favourite Album of 2011
I'm an indecisive soul at the best and worst of times and as you all know now I like a varied style of music. As you will have seen with my extensive list of favourite songs I find it hard to pick a favourite. But it was not hard to pick my favourite album of 2011. Infact it was probably one of the easiest decisions I've made in a long time ;-)

My Favourite Films of 2011
Yesterday saw my favourite songs of 2011 and now we move onto movies. It's been quite a mixed year I thought film wise and I think a lot of people are waiting for 2012, and I am one of them. But first 2011.

Reviewed: Escada Especially for Women
One of the perks of being a blogger is the occasional freebie that you get sent. Amongst the Christmas cards this week I received a tiny little sample of Especially Escada fragrance. As you know I don't like pink or gold so the bottle is a bit lost on me. Does anyone else buy perfume because of the pretty bottle?

mypure review: Comvita Anti-Ageing Firming Eye Gel
I turned 30 this year and I was told all the gems of "it's downhill from now on" and "next step is 40" (I thought it was 31!) and I guess it was about time I started looking into these anti-ageing creams and the like. I also realise I now should not be going to bed without a proper skincare routine... urgh and oops! So this Comvita Anti- Ageing Firming Eye Gel was a good place to start.

Music Monday: They Might Be Giants - Birdhouse In Your Soul
This song always makes me feel happy. Bouncy happy. It was recently played in TV series Bored to Death in the UK (US are ahead of us by a series). I feel like I need this bouncy song today as Mondays seem to be coming around so fast... slow down I like my weekends!

Me the Grouchy eBay Seller
After a massive clearout of clothes, shoes and the like I decided to list a few bits onto eBay. I'd stopped really selling stuff on a constant basis a while ago and had been more of a buyer than seller recently. A few changes to the selling forms had changed but nothing major. But eBay has changed, the site and the community that use it.

Music Monday: Florence + The Machine - Shake It Out
I know Florence + The Machine are much like people's views on marmite. Some love, others don't. I have always been in the "love" category. I keep catching up with the latest music and then I swing again far behind. I've now got the new album and I love it.

Where do all the gloves go?
Maybe it's just me but I always seem to lose gloves. I don't just mean the odd glove when I'm out and about but between the seasons I lose gloves. I put them away when spring comes and then I always seem to find them around the summer and cheerfully remember "I don't need you yet" and then like right now when I need gloves. WHERE HAVE THEY GONE?

Music Monday: Fleetwood Mac - Little Lies
On a Sunday I think I should rename them "Fleetwood Mac days". Tis true, I start pretty much every Sunday with Fleetwood Mac. I sit on the sofa with a cuppa, magazines and search for Fleetwood Mac on the iPod and hit shuffle. It's like a ritual.

Go Forth
I rarely watch live TV anymore (thank you Sky+) so I rarely get to see adverts. The only time I do now is at the cinema. Recently waiting for the film to start I saw the new Levi advert, I couldn't help but smile at the end. If you ever need motivation for life, then this one is a must.

Thank goodness they won!
You might have noticed I love Dan Carter. With that comes a lot of responsibility as I have written about him a fair few times on my blog and I'm often tweeting about him. I have learnt that I should sometimes keep my trap (!) shut. I'll explain why....

Music Monday: Emeli Sande - Daddy
I really liked her song 'Heaven' that was probably my song of the summer. Her album is out soon and I have already pre-ordered it. Such a great voice!

Music Monday: Mazzy Star - Into Dust
The first time I heard Mazzy Star over ten years ago I was totally spellbound by the sound. I still get the same feeling when I listened to them now. This song "Into Dust" is one of my favourite chill out sounds although the band is more well known for "Fade into you" which is their biggest hit.

I love food
Food, food, food. Nom. I love it. Plan my life around it. Try new things. I talk about food, read about it, write about it. I'm making myself hungry thinking about it. I used to be a fussy eater but now that has changed as I have got older.

Music Monday: Coldplay - Paradise
You all know how much I love Coldplay, the new album is out on the 24th and I cannot wait. Is it the 24th yet? I loved "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" and I love "Paradise" too.

Are you judging me?
I've been thinking about this for a while, recent events have made it come to a head at a quicker rate and it left me a little off... but Bliss is back ;-) Every single day people are judging you and likewise you are judging others. You might not even realise it's happening sometimes and you might not realise that you are doing it.

To clarify Dan Carter is FIT
In recent days this post about Dan Carter has got MASSIVE views on my blog and I feel I have to apologise. Dan Carter was out with injury in New Zealand's last Rugby World Cup match against Japan. That blog was written in August 2010 is not about his recent injury.

Weekly Loves
The weather has not been that sunny this summer and I've noticed that the bees have struggled with the changing climate from week to week and even day to day. I did one day this week manage to get out in the garden and watch a bee having fun on the buddleia. He went round and round for ages :-)

Music Monday: Marvin Gaye - Got to give it up
I really love my Music Monday posts. I might be the only one but it's my blog so I can do what I like. Today feels like a day for needing a bit of a boogie tune to get the day started and you can't go wrong with this tune from Marvin Gaye.

Skittles in a box!
I forgot to do a weekly loves last week *slaps hand* so this one is two weeks rolled into one! I've been heavily addicted to skittles recently after I realised the reason I couldn't find them in shops was because I was looking for the bags and not the boxed (see pic above).

Music Monday: Sting - Englishman in New York
I put my iPod on shuffle for this Music Monday post so this is my choice for the day. I realise that I'll have this in my head all day and possibly you will too. Oh well. I remember this song for being used in the Rover advert back in the 90's.

I love to laugh - Part 1
I have mentioned a few times already on my blog how much I love to have a giggle. I have also put up a variety of TV comedians and shows that have made me laugh over the years but recently I started to put it all in order. So this, Part 1 will go through my first laughs growing up. Some I had almost forgotten about but to this day they still make me giggle.

Music Monday: Miles Kane - Come Closer
Miles Kane's album is possibly my most over-played album of the year, I love it. Also for how much I play it I haven't got tired of it and neither has anyone else who happens to be around when I play it. It's an infectious sound and I'm hooked.

Weekly Loves
Became addicted to these this week, the Mint ones are especially yummy. Nom nom!
I have decided that there is no point buying summer clothes unless you are planning to spend a large proportion of the year in a warmer country. I've been back in jumpers this week and my coat has had fair usage too. We did though manage to get a sunny, rain free day at the zoo. I love the zoo, my favourites the tigers were happy laying about in the sunshine and I would have happily joined them - they wouldn't eat me would they?

Music Monday: Powderfinger - Up & Down & Back Again
Yes I've been doing these Music Mondays for some time now and this is my first Powderfinger one. Are you proud? I am. Yes I love Powderfinger possibly more than I love cake. Put them together and it makes a very happy me :-)

I just had to get this ;-)
The weather this week has been cold, wet and bleurgh really but today the sun is out and apparently it will be nice again tomorrow too so make sure you are all out enjoying it! I'm still chuckling away at the picture above, it's great isn't it? Any excuse to not do house work ;-)

Review: Very Lazy Red Thai Curry
When this Very Lazy Red Thai Curry arrived I was looking after my goddaughter for the day and she was quite intrigued as to why someone was sending me jars of food stuffs through the post. More so she wanted us to make it which we did but this is possibly the toughest person to try this as said goddaughter does not like curry!

Where have you been?
Image from HERE
I had an email this week asking me "Where have you been?" to my blog email addy. Yes. I hold my hands up I did say that I wasn't going to be posting every day but I did expect I would be around more than I have been. My bad. Sorry. Thanks for the email though, much appreciated. She's lovely.

Music Monday: Nina Simone - Sinnerman
Growing up I had few, actually it might be zero jazz influences so I didn't hear a Nina Simone song until I was nearly into my twenties. I probably had heard them before but had no one to say that's who it is. So I was late to hear and fully appreciate a Nina Simone song. My first was probably "Feeling Good" but this one "Sinnerman" is my favourite.

mypure Review: Acorelle Ingrown Hair Treatment
After my previous review for Acorelle Epilation I then decided to try this Acorelle Ingrown Hair Treatment as I had noticed that after waxing I was getting a few problem areas. The first thing with this was there are no English instructions on the bottle, whilst it's not difficult to work out what you do with it. I did find it slightly un-nerving that I couldn't make out the instructions.

Music Monday: The Knack - My Sharona
This song will get stuck in your head.Well it does with me anyway. It's been covered by Pearl Jam and Nirvana to name just two and even has featured in The Simpsons. Those who have seen Super 8 will also quite possibly have the "My Sharona" scene as one of their favourites from it.

I have a slight obsession with these and one is simply not enough... one box I mean ;-)
So I have kept to my word and been quiet on the blog this week and my OCD nature struggled each morning and I was tempted to post something but I didn't give in. I'll be about a bit more next week as I have some reviews to post up.
