I've loved the Harry Potter series, both in print and on screen. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows is the last installment of the series and as expected is the most awaited of all the books to be turned onto the big screen. Of course there are a lot of fans (me included who are nervous of the fact that this book has been split into two films. Part 1 is released November 2010 with Part 2 in July 2011.

Sarah Loves... Kings of Leon
It's fair to say I've seen a lot of Hyde Park. Especially in the last few days. Pearl Jam on Friday. Sir Paul McCartney on Sunday. Tomorrow I'll see Kings of Leon. It won't be the first and definitely not the last.
I've liked them for years. Years. Before they made it big and yes that's a long time before the song "Sex on Fire". And back when they had a lot of hair.

Javier Hernandez
Now with England's not unexpected early exit from The World Cup now I can watch the rest of the games with no fear or nerves. Although a Spain win will still make me a very happy girl, a nice win on the World Cup sweepstake. Perfecto!

Weddings and Fish n Chips
I love being a bridesmaid for Future Bride and we've not actually reached their Wedding day yet :-) In recent weeks I've shopped, tasted food, prepared seating plans and marvelled at the prices some weddings could cost.
I have loved each and every part of it. The main thing has been how much Future Bride has said I've helped her, after all that is the point isn't it?

Collision Course
I don't have the easiest relationship with my Mum, for now we kind of tread water to be able to sustain some kind of speaking term. It's never been particularly easy but in the last ten years or so it has been tested to it's limit.

iPhone #ios4 Update Fail
Don't worry I haven't broken my iPhone, but let's just say after my Sarah Loves...her iPhone post I have fallen out of love with it in the past 24 hours. It's not good.

One Tree Hill is back... and it's all so different
Season 7 started last week on E4. Even though there is now no Lucas and Peyton :-( I still found myself totally gripped by it and wanting to watch the next episode.

Sarah Loves... Powderfinger
I've seen Powderfinger for the very last time, earlier this month I saw them on their very last tour of the UK. I'm still devastated that they have split. But at least I did get to say goodbye to them, but their music lives on.

Wimbledon time
It seems hard to believe that it's Wimbledon time all over again. I think this year it seems even more weird with The World Cup being on at the same time too, but anyway today it starts all over again.

Dan Carter... you're just too good
Oh yes he's back... back again.
Dan Carter, you certainly brought me out of my post football anger yesterday with his complete demolition of Wales 42-9. The second half 27 point masterclass by Carter illustrated the pure talent of the man and showed he still is an amazing player. It was never in doubt.

Does the FA do refunds?
Forgive me if this still seems as bitter and disappointed as I was during and straight after England's awful World Cup 0-0 draw against Algeria in South Africa. Even after a night's sleep I am still annoyed but mostly I feel letdown. Again.

Why do I feel bored?
I'm bored. Well no that's not true, I'm after new things. But within that I'm bored.
I seem to have hit some sort of stalemate with regards to what I'm doing in life. Before my trip away I knew I had to reorganise and prioritise the way I was living as I didn't seem to have time to do all the things I wanted to.
I'm lucky that I can pick and drop work and not be out of pocket, but of course I need to pick up enough to pay the bills and of course for my spending habits on pretty things. So I've cut back on my work and yet weirdly I seem to have more emails and more work? Eh. How does that work?

My Summer Song
Every year there is a song that I hear around this time of year that becomes my song of the Summer. The last few days I have definitely found mine, as it seems to be playing loads at the moment and it always makes me feel happy and sing along. Perfect!

Soul mates
"There are millions of people in the world, and the spirits will see that most of them, you never have to meet. But there are one or two you are tied to, and the spirits will cross you back and forth, threading so many knots until they catch and you finally get it right"

Are you sitting comfortably?
I do like a good book but even better if a man will read to me ;-)
Now Carte Noire is providing some very sexy men who will read to you, sadly they do not come to your house :-(

England V USA
After returning this week from my trip to New York (and the jetlag has really hit in the last 48 hours) I feel a little indifferent towards England's opening match against USA in The World Cup.

An alternative to sending flowers
Sending flowers for special occasions is a very thoughtful thing to do but my Dad sent me a link to biscuiteers. There are many different types to send in very cute tins, obviously after my New York trip I have my eye on the above New York biscuits.

Sarah Loves... James Corden
He's funny right? I want to actually know him. Not in a stalkerish way I'm quick to say but how cool would it be to go to the pub with him? I'd be laughing a lot. He just is a funny guy.

Get Well Soon Rio
Gutted for Rio. Gutted for the team. Great loss for our World Cup hopes. But on the positive side I'm pleased that Michael Dawson has been called back up to the squad.

Simon Baker playing football
It's Soccer Aid tomorrow and although I doubt I'll be able to watch the match until I'm home via the wonder of the ITV Player :-)) but I gotta remind you all that there is some serious eye candy this year.

This is a blog that I had forgotten about actually but on re-reading it I think it has helped me to once again re-figure out my priorities of what I do/don't do.

Capello's 23
So today was judgement day with regards to who made the final 23 in Fabio Capello's England squad for The World Cup. Seven players got the phone call to say they would not be part of the final 23 and could now go off on their Summer holidays and for some contemplate their future.

Sarah Loves... her iPhone
My iPhone goes everywhere with me, wherever I am it is never too far away. You might remember my devastation when I had dropped my phone and it failed to work, luckily it all got sorted and I'm now even more careful with it. It's my life, or rather, my life is in it.
