My two favourite things - chocolate and percies :-)
Hope you all had a lovely Easter, it was really nice to have four days of sunshine and I think we managed to have a BBQ every single day which is top work if you ask me!
You know those appraisal meetings with your boss where you get asked about your future. Sometimes the "Where do you see yourself in 15 years?" question will pop up. Some people have their lives all mapped out and can quickly answer and list all the things they will have achieved in that time and what will be next on their horizon.
No not the hairstyle - carrying on with my bee theme, we now look at the hive. A hive has detachable sections and is exactly like the tiers found in a natural hive but this way you can easily control everything in your hive. So starting from the bottom here is what your hive has;
The second of my mypure reviews is for the Acorelle Epilation Oriental Roll-on wax with strips - Lemon and cane sugar. I think the thing everyone should realise before any waxing is that it will be messy. If you do not like it when you get jam on your fingers and have to wash it off straight away then home waxing is not for you.
On Friday I woke up and decided that today was the day that I would start running again. I'd been told by my doctor that I could as long as I took it easy. I'd been told this a few weeks ago but although I had been eager to get running I knew I needed to wait for the right time. Now!
Nom! I should add these are not the mini eggs that fell on the floor that I mentioned on twitter. These were from a brand new bag!
Hasn't it been lovely to have some constant sunshine this week? Well here in the UK we have and hopefully it will stay across the Easter weekend too. I'm now off work till May 3rd. With 4 bank holidays coming up it seemed silly not to take the break from work.
I'm a bit potty about lists... have you noticed? And I'd spotted a few blogs taking part inKate Takes 5 Listography series so I thought I'd give it a go. This week's one is "5 Things I Hope People Say About Me At My Funeral".
In last week's bee post I started with the basics of bees and now we start to get into the nitty gritty stuff. Today we'll look at the bee workforce and the beautiful and sometimes annoying Queen Bee (I say that with recent annoyance).
No not just any wire... The Wire. I think this is quite possibly the best TV series ever and I was hooked from Season 1. The Wire was set in and around Baltimore, Maryland and focused on different parts of the City in each series.
As it's the school holidays you might have kids to entertain and the cinema can help ease the stress, worry, tears, tantrums... and that's you not the kids! I took Little man to see Hop on Friday and I loved it!
My Dad and Stepmum visited this week and they had a few little gifts for me. I love Snoopy :-)
Manchester United beat Chelsea... sorry I'll say that again Manchester United beat Chelsea... tra la la la la. Oh how wonderful the world is? But it is isn't it?
There are so many ways to keep hold of memories, writing a diary and even a blog, taking photos, things you have posted on facebook, even your iTunes. Recently I wanted to get some of system to remember which books I had read.
If you do not like bees (and wasps) then this blog really isn't for you so go and read something else I've written on my blog as I'd be exactly the same about reading a blog about spiders! *shrieks*.
So anyway I mentioned about my beekeeping course and yesterday we officially got to visit our beehive. Oh I was excited. Yup total beekeeper geek alert :-)
I was sent theVery Lazy Posh Sausage Casserole to try out. I was never going to turn down trying food was I? Nope. So onto the product, this is one of a new range of Cooking Concentrates. Basically it's a cooking sauce which comes with a wrap around card detailing your shopping list and simple instructions. There is a little twist as there is room for you to add your own touch to the dish, either with stock, wine, extra ingredients.
My beehive... well no not actually "mine" it's actually a community beehive
Did you know I'm mad about bees? Well now after my beekeeping course I'm now looking after a beehive with five others. We officially get our hands on the hive next week, I am very excited! I'll write more about the bees and my course soon on my blog.
My time is incredibly valuable to me and I love lists but with that I don't lists littering the place and confusing everybody and mostly me. So I was told my bestie to try the Remember the Milk app. I love it!
I've just started reviewing mypureproducts, this is my first trial product Living Nature Nourishing Hand Cream. Now I've tried lots of hand creams before and never found one that I've liked. Normally I find them too greasy and I have to go and use a towel to dry my hands - not really the point is it?
The first time I properly registered that what I was listening to was a Foo Fighters track was when back in about 1996 I went to my local "indie" night in town. This was my very first experience of any sort of "nightclub" type thing but I can't remember if my parents knew that's where I was going... Oh well :-)
Isn't it pretty? Well ok maybe not pretty to you but it is to me - my new toy, my iPad2 :-)
I've had a week of trying to get my iPad out of the clutches of Little man so that I could have a play so a few bribery games for his DS and he seems to have forgotten about my iPad. Phew! Mine! The main difference I can spot between my iPad and Spurs boys original one is the battery does last longer, much longer. Heehee!
