Farewell Freddie
A sad day for cricketing fans yesterday as Andrew Flintoff retired from all forms of cricket. We all knew the news was coming but it doesn't make it any easier to hear.

The Good The Bad and The Ugly of my week
Apologies for being a tad late at getting this done, seems the time is just passing me by recently. So how was your week?

Hargreaves is back!
I said I wouldn't mention Owen Hargreaves again on this blog until he had played at least 30 minutes of football, well Thursday night he played 45 minutes for the reserves against Burnley in the 2-0 win.

The Good The Bad and The Ugly of my week
The Good
I have done quite a bit of revising this week as I have exams in April and I have been pretty lapse in getting started. Have set up a revision allocation amount for each week and will try to stick to it :-)
Loving the new Corinne Bailey Rae album
I got another follower to my blog - Welcome!
I got another follower to my blog - Welcome!
Had a very productive work week and I'm busy with work all this next week also, although the snow may put a hold on that.
I need to organise some golf practice, as the charity golf match is in May and I haven't done anything since November.
I started on my homework from Gala Darling on Your Radical Self Love Bible :-)
Watched 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford' film this week which Spurs boy and I thought was fantastic if maybe a little bit slow in parts. Also Brad Pitt is in it so that's a plus
You'll have probably read already in my blog about Being a Bridesmaid and today I got some more ideas from a wedding reception that we went to of someone Spurs Boy works with. The wedding was on a more extravagant budget but hopefully we'll be able to find some cheaper options.
I also have a coffee challenge which I will blog about later.
The Bad
Snow might be coming back!
Spurs boy is away from Monday for a couple of days but Bestie is moving into our spare room so that means homemade cocktails and scoffing creme egg ice cream!
Watched 'We Own The Night' and we were both disappointed, the plot was weak and there were no real surprises. Shame though as we both like Joaquin Phoenix as an actor :-(
I was getting all excited about Owen Hargreaves coming back to United's First Team but his exclusion from the upcoming Champions League squad was an unhappy sight. I still believe that he is an important player for both Manchester United and England, but we need to see him back. There are rumours that he can't recover from his double knee surgery that he had in November 2008. I really hope he can.
I think I pulled my hamstring on Friday, it's still sore but will get checked out this week. It has swollen in the last few hours :-(

I stupidly arranged a meeting for 7pm on Friday night - will never do this again!

The Good The Bad and The Ugly of my week
The Good
I throughly enjoyed my first Jukari session, and I hope to go again in February :-)
I love Glee! Definite new TV obsession
Absolutely love the Pussycat London collection at New Look that I blogged already about here
Spurs boy bought us a breadmaker, I had mentioned on twitter about wanting one and I seemed to get very mixed views on whether getting one was a good idea. But Spurs boy likes gadgets and so he bought one. I love it! I made banana bread today and it really helped with getting rid of my hangover :-) I have been asked to make chocolate banana bread, anyone tried it?
I completed my first Tesco online food shop and it will arrive this week :-)
Driving is no longer a scary thing, I have now driven on the M25 in rush hour. I think I can now say driving fear over! :-)
Went to an engagement party of people Spurs boy and I used to work with and they asked me to be Chief Bridesmaid and Spurs boy to be Best Man. We both feel very honoured and I am incredibly excited. I won tickets to The National Wedding Show this week from This Little Lady Went To London and these will be put to good use now.
Good news on the football front that Owen Hargreaves should be back playing again really soon, Oh how we have missed you! It was his birthday this week too Happy Birthday Owen!
I don't know if I've ever mentioned this before but I love this idea of pubs having board games available to play. Spurs boy and I went to the pub for food today and we ended up staying and playing scrabble with our friends. I love it and we plan to do it again soon!
The Bad
I still haven't got used to it being 2010, I keep writing 2009!
Both myself and Spurs boy had football sulks regarding our teams and even though we had them we seemed to cope really well with them. I think the main rule is to avoid the one having the football sulk until it's over!
After finding my filofax I need to get a bigger one, I have too much to write down and can't get my handwriting much smaller! Not really a bad thing as I need to do some shopping :-)
My next weekend free is March 13th! Busy times but again this isn't necessarily bad as I guess it keeps me out of trouble!
