The Friday File #4 - Tom Hardy

The first time I really took 'notice' of Tom Hardy was in two TV appearances. These were Martina Cole's TV adaptation of her book The Take and also as Heathcliff in a Wuthering Heights TV spot. Films like Inception, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and of course this year's The Dark Knight Rises have turned Hardy into a household name. He will next be seen as the iconic Mad Max and will be in Mad Max: Fury Road next year.

But I just love, love, love him!

I absolutely LOVE this! Two years ago, I had no idea who Tom Hardy was, but now I can’t get enough of him. I’ve been able to get all of his work through my Blockbuster @Home subscriptions, and so far, he’s proven himself to be an incredible actor. One of my co-workers at DISH was urging me for the past year to check out Hardy’s work, and I’m glad that I was able to find it all without having to purchase a bunch of bulky DVDs. Mel Gibson was absolutely fabulous in the first three Mad Max movies, and I’m confident that Hardy won’t let me down as a fan of the originals.
