Does anyone use a Filofax anymore?

Ok so I've been thinking about getting a new filofax and found this one, and well you know I like butterflies and it has got my name written all over it (Not literally!).

But the real question is - Does anyone use a filofax anymore?

I have an iPhone and there are plenty of apps I could get on there that would probably make the filofax obsolete. But is that a worthwhile substitute for a filofax?

So yes I'm pondering... filofax or stay with my iPhone?

I don't have an iPhone (am I in the minority?) so use my Filofax daily... as detailed here: http://typecast2000.blogspot.com/2009/10/my-filofax.html LOL!

I'm just going back to one - I like pen and paper in general, and have used a Moleskine DtP diary for (some) appointments and recording what I do day to day.

The diary doesn't do it for task & project management for me though (too easy to lose track of things where the date is in the future, or has passed). My plan for next year is to carry on with the diary for "hard" calendar events, and a filofax for a modified GTD system for task management and project management. Filofax is perfect for that because I can add and remove pages as and when I need to.

I have a Zip Logic and use it at work, it's much quicker looking at my diary than trying to access my Nokia phone. I do update my diary online for when the filofax is too bulky to carry around. Best of both worlds!

I still like pen to paper, there's something about actually writing something instead of just keying it in that helps me remember what I'm writing. I also like the permanence and low power requirements of paper (one less thing to keep charged!)

I use a windows smart phone, and a Filofax. I always have the phone, but if I'm making a call, it's not easy to use the diary. Pen and paper is also more reliable than anything with a battery.

I use an iPhone and a Filofax. My contacts reside on the iPhone, as well as regularly scheduled meetings and what not, but I use pen & paper for daily planning and a running to-do list.

Love the butterfly Filo...I vote buy the Planner and do both : )

Oh yes, lots of people still use Filofax. Just look up "filofax" on flickr.com and you will see!

I always carry a Filofax, a BlackBerry and an iTouch with me. So I'd say go for both too :)
