As Spurs boy has been injured and unable to play football in recent weeks I have enjoyed having my Sunday morning lie ins again. I shouldn't have been so frivolous with them, Spurs boy is back playing this Sunday! But... but...

Firefox Home App for iPhone

My preferred browser is Firefox and has been for some time. The one thing that annoyed me with my iPhone was how unpractical Safari was for me and I had got tired of adding my bookmarks. Then Spurs boy said "Get the Firefox app".

Sarah Loves... Peanut Butter

Isn't peanut butter lovely? Or is this a marmite dilemma; do you either love it or hate it? (For the record I am not a marmite fan) Well I love peanut butter and it's probably one of the main staples in our house like milk, bread and juice.

I have an iPhone and our main home phones are the cordless type that is now the modern way to go. So why would anyone buy a phone like the above one these days?

Oh DISQUS

I'd been meaning to add DISQUS to this blog for ages. Spurs boy has decided that he would like to join the blogging world and I said he should add it to his site straight from the beginning. I've added DISQUS on here now too the reason I had not done so sooner was because I had heard you lose all your old comments.

My Festival Guide

At the weekend I went to my erm... 5th festival (I think it's 5, my memory is shocking) and it was Spurs boy's first! We went with a big group of friends and met other new friends whilst we were there. A festival bond can last for years and maybe even a lifetime ;-)

Sarah Loves... The X Factor

Yes I can already here you shout "No Sarah" but it's too late.

After a weekend away the first thing I did was watch the football highlights from the weekend and then... Yes... X Factor. :-)

Now you all know I love my football, and I'm pretty knowledgeable on the area. I'm a passionate football fan who enjoys banter with rival fans, and have pretty colourful language when watching Manchester United play at times ;-)

Sarah Loves... going to the Cinema

I always at this time of year go to the cinema at least once a week and always pledge to go more during the rest of the year. This time it will be different. Oh wait, I say that every year too.

How do you cheer yourself up?

I've been a bit under the weather this weekend, although I think I'm feeling better now. I went out with Bestie on Friday night to check out a new bar in town and I had a few drinkies and was prepared for a hangover the next day.

Old Fossil

Spurs boy and I took Little man to the zoo last week and we spent a while browsing in the gift shop and Little man picked up a sticker book about dinosaur fossils. The conversation that followed is pure genius!

Little man : Daddy can I have this book?

Spurs boy: Of course. Fossils are pretty cool you know

Little man: What did you do for a job back then?

Spurs boy: Back when?

Little man: When dinosaurs existed. Did you build them houses too?

I laughed lots. Then I promptly walked up to the till with Little man and paid for the book. Spurs boy didn't speak the whole way home... 

Sarah Loves... Pizza

 I absolutely love pizza. Nom nom nom!

It's one of my best comfort foods and therefore worthy a mention on my blog. It's also provided a great way for me and Little man to get cooking together in the kitchen, we love making our own pizzas.

They Did It

Over ten years we've been waiting for our friends to get married. This weekend they finally got married!

It was a truly beautiful day, the sunshine came out for the much needed photos and it didn't rain. Friends that we haven't seen for ages made the journey for the weekend and everyone remarked on how well they had done on such a small budget.

Ok maybe not ALL of us do but there is something about a bad guy that is strangely attractive. Maybe it's because everyone warns you away from him that makes you want him more. It's so unfair.

My Guide to Sale Shopping

It's sale time and this is the time you'll either love or hate. Spurs boy doesn't like sale time at all, which surprises me, as everything is cheaper! :-P

Sarah Loves... her Twitter friends

Now you already know that I love twitter. I do. I love it. There are some people who have tried it and don't understand how people can or would want to use it - I am not one of those people. I have been on twitter over a year now and I admit I may have a small addiction to it.

What's in a job?

What does your partner do as a job? I don't just mean the title but do you actually know what their job is?

The reason I ask this is just last week I was at my volunteer job and there I work with adults with learning disabilities. For some reason we got into talking about jobs whilst we went out raspberry picking (nom nom nom) and they were intrigued to know what I do in my job and Spurs boy does. My brother has Downs Syndrome so I've always found I can put slightly difficult things across to different audiences with ease.

Anyway back to this tag, I'm supposed to reveal seven things that you don't know about me. So here goes:

Why do I feel bored?

I'm bored. Well no that's not true, I'm after new things. But within that I'm bored. 

I seem to have hit some sort of stalemate with regards to what I'm doing in life. Before my trip away I knew I had to reorganise and prioritise the way I was living as I didn't seem to have time to do all the things I wanted to. 

I'm lucky that I can pick and drop work and not be out of pocket, but of course I need to pick up enough to pay the bills and of course for my spending habits on pretty things. So I've cut back on my work and yet weirdly I seem to have more emails and more work? Eh. How does that work?
