Remember these?

I was having a bit of a reminisce session with friends over out favourite chocolate bars/treats that we loved that are not around anymore. Here are a few of the ones we talked about. Do you remember vice versas?

Vice Versas are a type of chocolate similar to Galaxy Minstrels. A Vice Versa can exist in one of two varieties; one consisting of milk chocolate encased in a white coloured sugar coating; the other of white chocolate in a brown coating. They were nom!

Chocolate Recovery and Curves

If your home is anything like mine after Christmas it's full of chocolates, biscuits and crisps. How anyone sets a New Years Resolution for losing weight when there is so much temptation around is beyond me. Maybe they have better willpower than me!

Lots more chocolate and goodies

As you all know I'm in the Secret Post Club scheme and got this lovely lot above from this month's sender Neus. Chocolate is an obvious winner for me, every single time. They have all been eaten by me already, mainly at the weekend when I wasn't feeling so well. There was also a tetrapack made purse which is lovely and I've already used it a few times.

The Good The Bad and The Ugly of my week

Happy Easter all I hope you have all had a lovely long break, if you have been unfortunate enough to have been working I hope you are on at least double pay. I used to work in retail and now love my weekends even more than I ever thought possible!

It seems funny to be sitting writing this as I gaze out of the window and I can see the sea. Spurs boy and I have taken Little man and my brother to Cornwall for the Easter break and we have had a lovely time. What have you all done? Too many easter eggs?

Easter Chocolate... Nom nom nom!

We're heading to Cornwall for the Easter break and this does not mean we're not taking any chocolate treats with us! Haha! My brother and of course Little man are coming with us and the eggs have been bought and very well hidden. Us being away the past few days means that no one has been searching for them. Have you got your eggs? Have you had to hide them away and I mean from yourself?

I love chocolate pralines, butterflies and flowers!

This is just the ideal gift for Mother's Day for me. Marks and Spencer have come up with this gorgeous chocolate praline butterflies with the packaging impregnated with seeds so that when the wrapper is planted it grows into Candytuft plants!

My new addiction

My new addiction is the Creme Egg Ice Cream, have you tried it? If not, you should. It says limited edition so maybe stock up your freezer whilst you can. I don't have a lot on my Tesco online food order this week - except a few tubs of this... nom nom nom!

Oh and whilst we're on the subject of creme eggs, I love the adverts for them and this one is my favourite:

Quality Street Favourites

Ok so have you ever counted how many of each chocolate you get in a Quality Street (can be Roses etc) tin?

Well I'd seen Simon Fairbairn had done a blog about it and thought as someone had bought me a tin for Christmas that I would do the same, see photo above.

My favourite is the Green Triangle.

So;

Toffee Finger = 10
Toffee Penny  =12
Toffee Deluxe = 11
Mint Choc Block = 9
Coconut Eclair = 11
Purple One = 7
Orange Choc = 5
Strawberry Delight = 13
Green Triangle = 6
Orange Creme = 12
Caramel Swirl = 5
Vanilla Fudge = 11

Only 6 of my favourites! Boo hoo! Also I hate toffee's!

But my brother bought me 3 of the GIANT Green Triangle's so my Christmas wasn't entirely ruined!

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly of my week

The Good

I'm liking the new John Mayer album - is that bad?
Glad that Spotify have sorted out their problems and I still love it. Especially when I asked on twitter if they could put some Powderfinger on there and within 3 days they had done so and had even put the new album on!
Winning more prizes on twitter!
I like having a chocolate each day from my advent calendar
I've had 3 more followers to my blog this week (Thank you to all of my lovely followers)

The Bad

Shovelling gravel for the repair work on the driveway for where I volunteer - my shoulder aches!
My bruises from last week are now still a rainbow of colours and this week I have added more so my legs looks oh so pretty :-(
The hangover from a Christmas party last weekend and the realisation from talking to others that I drunk at least 3 bottles of white wine - oopsie! I had a good time though and I can remember almost everything!

The Ugly

Yesterday where I volunteer it was one of those days where lots of things went wrong from 8-9.30 ish and we all knew it was going to be one of those days and it really was.

Chocolate Shoes!!!

Yes that's right I said Chocolate Shoes!

From Clifton Cakes these gorgeous shoes are made out of Belgian chocolate and to be honest they look too good to eat!

Each shoe is £21.50 and is about a size 4 (UK) shoe, I wouldn't recommend wearing them though!

My First Cupcakes!

They are absolutely gorgeous, not sure how I've only managed to eat just one so far! I had to of course make chocolate cupcakes first, these have a chocolate fudge butter icing with crispy sprinkles. I admit they maybe don't look as great as they taste in the photo but I was impressed and there will be many more to come!
