mypure Review: Lovea Bio Tahitian Monoi Moisturising Shampoo
I reviewed another of the Lovea Shampoo's last year and now I'm back with another review. This time this one is for normal hair but helps hair that has been damaged by sun and/or wind. My hair hasn't really had the chance to be sun damaged this year but it has definitely had it's frizzy moments due to the wind and rain.
Yup, my hair has definitely had its 'foofiness' back.
I have used the whole of this shampoo (Lovea Bio Tahitian Shampoo) up now and I've already replaced it. I have been using it at least twice a week for about five months and along with my other Lovea shampoo (which I also re-purchased) and whilst NOTHING can help my hair when I'm out in strong winds, they both helped my hair be less frizzy. Winning!

Reviewed : Walkers Crisps Hoops and Crosses
There's been a little monkey living with me for a while now, his name is Walker. I was sent him and a packet of Walkers Crisps new crisp sensation 'Hoops and Crosses' and I've since been buying them every two or so weeks. It would be more but a girl can't eat too many crisps can she? Ok, that's a total lie but shhh...
Before I could take a picture of the Roast Beef flavour that I was sent, they had been eaten! Yep, all gone. I have since bought the prawn cocktail flavour ones which I wasn't overly keen on admittedly, the roast beef ones are very yummy. I haven't tried the salt and vinegar ones as I'll admit this is not my favourite flavour. I'd love to see these in a cheese flavour or pickled onion *drools*
Anyway the important thing with these is that they are wholegrain, there's no artificial flavours or preservatives and they contain 30% less fat than a regular packet of crisps! They have become my new work lunch snack but they would be perfect for kid's lunch boxes too.
P.S. I named the monkey Walker because... I wanted to!
Disclaimer - I was sent the crisps (and Walker) for an honest review, which I always do for my blog reviews.

mypure review: Akin Skin Care Pure Radiance Organic Rosehip Oil
I had bad acne as a teenager, actually no, I 'thought' I had bad acne but really it wasn't as bad as I thought it had been. But at the time I had it 'the worst ever' - such a drama queen! I still have slight acne scars on my face which I am very conscious of, they also flare up when I'm ill. It's like a reminder when I'm feeling rough that "Hey, your skin is crappy too". Gee, thanks life!
When looking at products to review I had my eye on A'kin Rosehip Oil and I'd noticed in the other reviews that people who had adult acne scars had seen an improvement. They also noted that it had made their skin brighter and lessened the darker skin patches under the eyes. When I first starting using this I put 2-3 drops in my hand and just massaged it over my face, obviously be careful around the eye area. If like me you can be a bit clumsy then apply in front of a mirror. The oil is bright orange and I naturally feared I might end up looking like I'd been tangoed! That didn't happen by the way.

New! Walkers Deep Ridged Crisps
I love it when Sam from Walkers Crisps asks me if I want to review the latest crisp range, I always reply straight away and pretty much sit and wait for them to arrive. These new deep ridged ones had me very intrigued as they have ridges that are 8mm deeper than other ridge crisps available. You probably like me think of McCoys when you think of ridged crisps but can Walkers stand up to them or maybe even do better?
The crisps come in Ready Salted (only in multipacks), Salt and Malt Vinegar, Mature Cheddar and Onion and Flame Grilled Steak. I'm not a great salt and vinegar fan so they were always going to have to excel my very large expectations. That's the thing with these crisps they are deep ridged but also said to be bold in their flavour. They really are that!
I found the Salt and Malt Vinegar was very strong and overpowering but like I said I'm not a fan and won't eat them out of choice normally. The Flame Grilled Steak was as steak flavoured and smelly as the McCoys version, you really have to fumigate when you've eaten these. The smell lingers! The mature cheddar and onion were very tasty, a real kick of cheese! Again quite smelly though...
The Mature Cheddar & Onion Deep Ridged Crisps from Walkers Crisps
I found them to be crunchy at the first bite but they seem to dissolve away in my mouth. Not sure if that was the intention but it happened with each of the flavours I tried. I'm not sure if these would be a good alternative to McCoys, the dissolve crunch was a bit disappointing but the flavours are bold, if smelly!

Reviewed: L'Oreal's Youth Code Luminosity Extraordinary Serum
I had to laugh when I was sent this particularly after my 'thirty something skin' revelation that I wrote about last week. I actually chuckled away out loud reading the title, L'Oreal Youth Code Luminosity Extraordinary Serum, makes you say WOW and also giggle again. It's such a long title for a bottle that is said to do so much.

Reviewed: Escada Especially for Women
One of the perks of being a blogger is the occasional freebie that you get sent. Amongst the Christmas cards this week I received a tiny little sample of Especially Escada fragrance. As you know I don't like pink or gold so the bottle is a bit lost on me. Does anyone else buy perfume because of the pretty bottle?
