A tutor challenge

A few months ago I was asked if I would like to become a tutor. At first I was a bit like "Nah, that's not for me" but after a few successful mentor programmes I wondered if this could be a new step for me. I received lots of information and within days I was on a training course.

Learning not to say sorry

I've been aware for some time that I apologise too much. I've been worried that a real apology sounds insincere because I appear to overuse the word sorry. A twitter chat around this area of my personality made me think more about it.

Sarah Loves... Any Given Sunday

Possibly not an obvious choice for my Sarah Loves... blogs but Any Given Sunday is one of my favourite films. I always tend to watch it around the time of the Superbowl. It's not one of the greatest films ever but it's got one of the best motivational speeches ever.

I was having a bit of a reminisce session with friends over out favourite chocolate bars/treats that we loved that are not around anymore. Here are a few of the ones we talked about. Do you remember vice versas?

Vice Versas are a type of chocolate similar to Galaxy Minstrels. A Vice Versa can exist in one of two varieties; one consisting of milk chocolate encased in a white coloured sugar coating; the other of white chocolate in a brown coating. They were nom!
